What you’ll do
Experience Japanese culture through all five senses at a venue just a 8-minute walk from Sannomiya Station, located right behind Round One. In this 90-minute session, you’ll create two original onigiri (rice balls) while learning about the cultural stories behind them, such as “Why are onigiri triangular?” and “What are fermented foods?” You can also enjoy handmade pickles and rice malt amazake accompanied with your onigiri. The experience is designed to be accessible for first-timers and is fully English-friendly.
Choice of onigiri fillings, please pick two per person.
Ume (梅) – pickled plum
Kombu (こんぶ) – kelp Shiso (しそ) – perilla leaf
Yukari (ゆかり) – shiso-flavored rice seasoning (furikake)
Soy‑meat soboro (大豆ミートそぼろ) – savory crumbled soy protein (Japanese “soboro” style)
